Since the Finnish customers are seen as quality tourists in Vietnam, the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) has organized tourism promotion roadshow in these countries in order to boost the tourist traffic from Finland to Vietnam. The “Vietnam Tourism Roadshow was co-organized by the VNAT and Vietnamese Embassy to Finland on 18 September, 2017 in order to promote the strategy and policy of Vietnamese tourism through the image of Vietnam. The delegation is led by Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, Chairman of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) on a working visit to Finland from 16th to 20th September 2017.

There were representatives from Vietnamese embassy in Finland, the delegation, tourist companies in Finland and guests. The roadshow was opened with the speech made by Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, VNAT chairman, then followed by a welcome speech delivered by Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich, the Vietnamese ambassador to Finland.
The key tourism products of Vietnam were presented. They are beach, culture, cuisines, nature, ecotourism, adventure, etc. Finnish customers are seen as very quality tourists because “they stay longer and spend more”.
