Approach

Instructor

Our Vietnamese language course trainers are native speakers with at least 3 years’ professional Vietnamese training experience. In addition to relevant academic and linguistic qualifications and experience, our trainers also possess considerable exposure and expertise in the professional world.

Hang is a professional business consultant. She works with startups, SMEs, business organizations in Finland, Germany, Italy, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Vietnam, etc. with special focus on market entry and international business development. Her expertise includes leadership, effective communication, project management, business development and stakeholder relationship. She cares about culture and integration. 

Hang has long experience in teaching language since 1998. In Finland she was a teacher of Vietnamese for Oulu city (2010) and Espoo city (2012-2014). She taught Vietnamese language and culture to children of Vietnamese origin at public kindergartens and schools in Oulu and Espoo, Finland. She taught Vietnamese for the Finnish Embassy of Foreign Affairs in 2003 and 2006. 

Before moving to Finland in 2008, Hang lived and worked in Hanoi. She taught English and Vietnamese in a language learning center in the evenings as her second job because of her passion to teach language and communicate with people. 

Hang is currently chairwoman of BiziVietnam. She is a dedicated community development worker. She leads the BiziVietnam team to create meaningful impacts and values to Vietnamese community and Finnish society.

Fact about Vietnamese language

Vietnamese is categorised as part of Mon-Khmer branch within the Austroasiatic language family alongside Khmer and regional language such as Munda and Khasi mainly spoken in India.

Vietnamese has been influenced by Chinese, consequently, a considerable amount of words are directly borrowed from Chinese lexicon. Vietnamese has been also influenced by the French during the XIX and the XXth century.

Today, Vietnamese is spoken by approximately 75 million speakers worldwide. To your surprise, it is the 16th most spoken language in the world
